I often return to this picture presented in John. I have heard it said, and love the phrase, "It is about the towel, not the title". Jesus held both, the towel and the title, as we see here in the Gospel of John. It truly is mind blowing to think that He would show His love, "to the full extent" for us...and yet, that is EXACTLY what he did. His Love for you. His Love for me. To The Full.
