"Are You Ready To Be BOLD?"

Every year I, like many, ask The Lord for a word or short phrase, to pray about, work on, and grow in... last year was "Focus". I had NO idea how important it was to learn about focus as our lives literally were turned upside down, spun around, and transplanted. Through the highs and lows ALWAYS the Lord brought that word, those lessons and victory, as I fixed my eyes on HIM! Does that mean that I have that word "perfected"? Nope. But it does mean that I am more apt to hit my knees in prayer before I allow what "hits the fan" affect me. The Lord is ALWAYS faithful and NEVER late. He NEVER leaves me nor forsakes me ( that word 'forsake' could be translated as 'abandon') in any situation. I let that sink in. ABANDON. No matter what pain, harsh reality, muck, frustrations... My God does not "cut and run"... in fact He saw it coming before I did... and through His faithfulness, he prepared me by having me study that word... "FOCUS".

This year, 2019, I have had this question in my heart... over and over again as I pray, "Are you ready to be BOLD?"

My word, however was not in that question... my word is in the answer. In 2019, I have this: "CONFIDENT" (Or any form of the word: Confidence, confidently, etc.)

I don't know what this year will hold - I have no idea how I will be stretched in this way but I WILL stand on what I have learned up to here... The Lord of my life and heart will NEVER leave me nor abandon me!

My heart responds before my finite mind can even sort through the possibilities - even though I don't understand, I call out in CONFIDENCE my answer... "YES!!!"

I am excited to see what The Lord is going to do and I plan to live out loud through it all!

So, what about you?

"Are you ready to be BOLD?"

Deuteronomy 31:6 (NIV)

"Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the Lord your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you.”

As always, I welcome any questions, comments, or prayer requests - Keep strong in the Lord, brothers and sisters in Christ!
